This thematic volume is dedicated to dealing with crises from the perspective of socio-economic education and science. Based on the experience of teaching and learning in crises, the contributions discuss the following questions, among others: Which educational contents, forms and policies help to learn from crises? What ways of dealing with the permanent state of crisis does socio-economic science offer? In addition to programmatic, theoretical and historical essays, the volume presents teaching-learning formats that have taken up this challenge. Subject didactic and subject scientific answers to multiple crises are presented as inspiration for approaches and activities of a critical-transformative socio-economic education and science.
