4th issue

The fourth issue is the first study in the German-speaking world to approach student perceptions of studying economics, especially economics, by means of qualitative social research. Based on group interviews at five of the most important study locations for economics in Germany and Austria, four basic orientations were reconstructed with the help of the documentary method, which can be considered relevant or typical for the student approach to studying economics. The empirical findings are theoretically interpreted from interdisciplinary perspectives and linked to current discourses on economic education.
